An increasing number of owners are asking me to photograph their cars. This is something I really enjoy doing as it means they are looking for something more than the traditional "portrait" pictures that appear in books!
Usually it's because they have a rare or valuable car, but I am just as happy looking through the lens at something more mundane. Remember, I am looking beyond the model or marque. I am looking at colours, detail and reflections. Occasionally the weather can effect what images we get, but there is usually some interesting detail in bad weather, cloud reflections, raindrops etc.
Commissions are all undertaken by arrangement, as we would need to agree a suitable venue and objective. Please drop me an email and let me know your requirements, location, type of car etc.
Price of a commission depends on several factors. Firstly the location of the car i.e. how far am I travelling to take the photographs. Secondly, the size and number of finished images the customer wants.
As a general guide commissions usually cost £500 upwards including a 20" x 30" image.
